These workshops will include ready-to-use program ideas and samples, hands-on participation and time for group discussion, and will be held in five locations throughout the Commonwealth. Each location will feature the following topics in this day-long event:
- Only a Few? Look What You Can Do!: Tips and tricks for those who are flying solo in their library service to children
- School-Age Programming Made Simple
- Great Books 2006: Beyond the Winners Circle
- CSI @ Your Library
- Library 2.0 (not offered at Shaler)
The cost is $15. for PaLA members and $18 for non-members, which includes morning coffee and lunch. The events closest to CCLS libraries are in Norristown on May 11, and Williamsport on May 25, and the registration deadline for these two locations is April 20.
