EBSCOhost - Improved Features

I learned about these recent changes by stumbling upon them, but couldn't find the words to describe all of the wonderful new features. My thanks to Sue, a staff member in the Bosler Data Den, for pointing me to an article in Information Technology Today.

The revision adds:

• clustering of search results,
• RSS feeds for Journal alerts (my favorite - no more waiting for shared professional journals…skim them online in my aggregator!),
• expedited access to full text,
• grouping of databases by subject for federated (cross-file) searching,
• alternative citation format outputs,
• improved personal account maintenance,
• context-sensitive help, and
• a new Visual Search option from its partner Groxis
